On Sunday, August 25, 2024, the Concertzender devoted a full hour to the music of composer Nikolai Medtner (1880 – 1951) with works from the CD ‘A tribute to Medtner‘ by Patricia Verhagen – piano. In the program “Willem Brons Presenteert” three pieces were broadcast with a short explanation. Broadcast works are:
- Sonata Tragica (1918-1920)
- Tales opus 51 (1928)
- Sonata in G minor, opus 22 (1909-1910)
